Meet: Promptly at 9:30 AM at intersection of Packers Swamp Rd and New Line Rd. I do not recommend people travel along Packers Swamp Rd as
last time I went that way I could not get through. Travel to the top of
Tantawangalo Mtn Rd, turn right onto New Line Rd and drive until you
see signs to Nunnock Swamp Picnic area i.e. Packers Swamp Rd on the
right. (see below for travel directions from the south)
Description:
Loop walk around Packers Swamp, good boots needed. Roads and
track with some off track though the final route we take may vary. At
the end of the day if there is time we will also visit Nunnock Swamp and
the hut for those interested.
Travelling from the south:
Take the Mount Darragh Rd from South Pambula, and turn right (Tantawangalo Mountain Road) approximately 3km before Cathcart. After approximately 6km, turn left into New Lines Road, and then follow above instructions to signs to Nunnock Swamp Picnic area (ie Packers Swamp Rd) on the
right.
